For the icing:


For the Elisenlebkuchen, mix all ingredients until fluffy. Spread the dough on a baking tray to a thickness of approx. 3 cm. Bake the dough at 180 °C top/bottom heat for approx. 30 minutes.

For the icing, mix powdered sugar with lemon juice until smooth. Coat the cooled mass with icing. Chill and then cut the Elisen gingerbread into cubes.
