For the pasta casserole a la Bolognese, peel and dice the onion and sauté it in a pot with the oil. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly.

Stir in the tomatoes with the juice and lightly chop. Season with oregano, basil, tomato paste, salt and pepper and simmer gently without a lid for about 20 minutes.

Cook the tagliatelle according to package directions until very al dente, drain and rinse. Mix the pasta with the sauce and pour half of it into the greased baking dish. Spread just under half of the grated cheese on top.

Layer the casserole again in the same way and bake in the preheated oven at 225 °C on the middle shelf for about 30 minutes.
