Instructions:

First, carefully trim the vegetables and cut into small cubes. Finely chop the garlic. Mix the wheat flour with the baking powder and mix together with the chickpea flour, garam masala, salt, turmeric and chili powder in a bowl. Slowly add enough water to turn the mixture into a nice, thick batter. Add garlic and beat the dough well. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Beat vigorously again. Now add the diced vegetables to the dough. Meanwhile, heat plenty of oil in a heavy, deep frying pan. Fry the dough in the form of small triangles or balls until golden brown. To do this, use a tablespoon to cut larger dumplings and shape them into triangular cookies in the fat with a second spoon. (Or cut small dumplings with a coffee spoon, put them into the hot oil and shape them a bit more round with two small spoons). Bake slowly until golden brown. Lift out, drain well and serve quickly.
