Instructions:

For the nut cream for cheese platters, soak the cucumbers in (initially) lukewarm water for at least 2 hours.

Drain and allow to drain.

Chop walnuts finely.

Peel pears, cut into quarters, remove core and cut fruit into cubes.

Mix cream cheese with walnut oil and pear syrup until smooth, season with salt and pepper and fold in the pear pieces and walnuts.

Chill the nut cream for cheese plates for about an hour before serving.
