For the minced cordon bleu, peel the onions, chop them into small cubes and fry them in a little clarified butter until golden brown.
Mix the minced meat, the bread cubes, the milk, the egg, the spices, the finely chopped garlic cloves and the roasted onions in a bowl. If the mixture does not stick enough, mix in a few breadcrumbs. Let rest briefly.
Meanwhile, prepare the smoked meat and cheese. Wrap two slices of smoked meat around one slice of cheese. Form loafs from the minced mass, fill in the smoked meat and cheese packets in the middle and finish with minced mass. Roll in breadcrumbs.
Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan and fry the minced cordon bleu loafs over low heat until they are cooked. Serve with mashed potatoes or garlic sauce and green salad.
