Instructions:

Remove peel from potatoes, chop coarsely and cook in boiling salted water until tender. Fry bacon cubes without fat or oil in a frying pan. Cut the chives into fine rolls. Mix 8 tbsp. sour cream or crème fraiche with a little salt, pepper, fresh nutmeg and about 2/3 of the chopped chives. Drain and steam the potatoes. Coarsely mash potatoes with 2 tbsp. sour cream or crème fraiche and serve with remaining sour cream or crème fraiche, chives and bacon.
