For Jamaican meat stew, first heat olive oil in a pot, sauté onion with garlic and green onion. Add the beans. Briefly fry paprika powder, thyme, curry and pimento seeds, deglaze with rum and bring to a boil with vegetable stock. Add meat and simmer slowly for 90 minutes (keep skimming off foam).
Add coconut milk, season with salt and pepper, add rice and cook the Jamaican meat stew covered for another 20 minutes.
