Preheat oven to grill setting.
Cut slices of bread or brioche about 3 cm thick. Cut out a hole with a diameter of about 5 cm each.
In a frying pan, fry 2 slices of bacon overlapping lengthwise. Place bread slices on top and fry.
Crack an egg into each hole and season to taste. Cover and fry over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until eggs begin to set.
Now place the pan on the top rack in the oven without the lid until the bread is toasted golden brown and the eggs are fully set.
Remove, arrange on plates with garnish and serve sprinkled with chives.
