Sift the flour into a suitable bowl.
Mix the yeast with 2 tablespoons of milk and add to the flour. Gradually add 3 tablespoons sugar, 80 g butter, 200 ml milk, vanilla and 2 eggs and knead well. A compact dough must be formed.
Form about 6 balls of the same size from the dough. Place spaced apart on a floured dough board and let rise, covered with a wet tea towel, for 1 1/2 hours. Knead well again and form balls one more time.
Heat 200 ml milk, 50 g butter and 2 tablespoons sugar in a bowl with a tight-fitting lid. Place the dough balls side by side and cover.
Cook in the oven preheated to 180 °C for 40 minutes without moving the mold or removing the lid.
Serve with vanilla sauce.
