Sift flour into a bowl and mix well with yeast. Gradually add the remaining ingredients and knead into a dough with the dough hook or your hands.
Cover the dough in a bowl and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size. On a floured work surface, flatten the dough and turn it in from the right and left sides toward the center. Form a roll and cut pieces from it.
Flatten the pieces, put the jam filling in the middle and close the ends well (press them together).
Place the filled bokhles in a greased baking dish, brush with a little butter and let them rise again in a warm place, covered, until the bokhles are doubled in height.
Bake in a preheated oven (160 °C hot air) for about 40 minutes until the Buchteln have a nice brownish color.
