A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Place flour in a suitable bowl, press a bulge in the center. Pour in egg and salt. Spread the cold light butter in flakes evenly over the edge of the flour. Knead quickly from the outside in to form a smooth shortcrust pastry. Rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour (in a tupperware or possibly foil).

In the meantime, remove the peel from the onion and garlic. Cut the onion into rings, dice or crush the garlic and sauté in oil. Add to the minced meat.

Knead together with marjoram, pine nuts, salt, thyme, Tabasco sauce and parsley.

Then roll out the dough on a little flour a little larger than the cake springform pan of 20 cm ø. Grease the bottom and sides of the springform pan and line with the dough. Spread the meat mixture on the dough.

Bake in heated oven at 200 to 220 °C for 40 to 45 min.

In the meantime, season the yogurt lightly with salt and fold in the dissolved gelatin. Cool in the refrigerator and then mold over the finished warm cake.

Discreetly spread the garnish ingredients evenly over the top in style.

Serve with a chicory leaf salad with chopped walnuts in a vinegar-oil marinade.
