Instructions:

For “the nutty”: Lightly toast the almonds in a pan without fat, then mix with the remaining ingredients (except the cocoa and canola oil) in a bowl and grind with a blender.

Then, depending on taste and desired firmness, mix in more canola oil. Form about 30 equal-sized balls from the mixture and toss in a bowl with the cocoa until the balls are coated all around.

For “the Christmas ones”: lightly toast the oat flakes in a pan without fat, then mix with the remaining ingredients (except the coconut flakes and the canola oil) in a bowl and crush with a blender.

Then, depending on taste and desired firmness, mix in more canola oil. Then toast the coconut flakes in a pan until light brown. Form about 30 equal-sized balls from the mixture and toss them in a bowl with the toasted coconut flakes until the balls are covered all around.
