Chop the bacon very finely, mix with the flour and parsley, add salt and mix with water and egg to form a loose dumpling dough. Use a wet spoon to make zeppelin-shaped dumplings from the dough and cook them in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Lift the dumplings out of the cooking water, arrange them in a preheated soup bowl and pour boiling hot beef broth over them.
