Instructions:

For the cheesecake apple crumble cake, first prepare the base and prepare the oven to 180°C.To do this, prepare a dough from flour, sugar and butter. The dough can be a little crumbly, so that it harmonizes better with the crumbles afterwards. Press the dough onto a baking tray covered with baking paper and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.

Meanwhile, peel the apples, remove the stem and seeds and cut into small cubes. Mix with a little sugar and the pulp of a vanilla bean.

For the cheesecake mixture, mix cream cheese, curd cheese, eggs, cornflour and sugar with a hand mixer until well blended.

For the crumbles, knead together flour, butter, cinnamon, and sugar, and twirl into crumbles with your fingertips.

Now spread the cheesecake mixture evenly on the pre-baked cake base and spread the apple cubes on top. Add the crumble on top and bake the cheesecake apple crumble cake in the oven for about 50 minutes, until the crumble has turned a golden brown color.

Finish the cheesecake apple crumble cake with a caramel sauce before serving. Homemade caramel sauce tastes best, of course.
