Cut the washed, hulled strawberries in half, place in a suitable bowl, drizzle with the liqueur, sprinkle with the sugar, stir and leave to cool for ½ hour.
Combine the white wine, powdered sugar, egg yolks and grated orange zest and whip (do not make) in a bain-marie to a frothy cream. Cool. Mix with the whipped cream, whipped until quite stiff. Arrange the cream over the marinated strawberries, evenly distribute the orange strips over it.
