Prepare ramekins for the milk pudding. Boil 400 ml of milk with the cardamom pods and the sugar. Mix 100 ml of milk with the rose water and cornstarch.

When the milk boils, remove the cardamom pods and slowly pour the cold liquid into the milk, stirring constantly, and boil again for about 1 minute.

Then divide the pudding into four ramekins rinsed in cold water. Chill. Wash and quarter the strawberries, saving some for decoration. Put the rest in a bowl with the strawberry brandy and mash.

Sugar to taste. Turn out the cold pudding onto small plates and serve garnished with strawberry sauce and strawberries.
