In a bowl, cream the room-warm butter and add the sugar and egg yolks. Add almonds and liquid whipped cream and continue mixing until the mixture becomes a stiff cream.
Prepare a springform pan, mix some milk with a strong shot of rum in a deep dish. Now briefly turn the MANNER biscotti one after the other in the flavored milk and line the bottom of the mold with them. Line the rim with halved biscotti. Spread the biscotti generously with the cream, cover again with soaked biscotti and repeat the process until the cream is used up, with the biscotti forming the final layer.
Cover cake tightly with cling film and let stand in a cool place for at least 5 hours. Then carefully remove from springform pan, brush well all around with whipped cream. Sprinkle cake edge with almond slivers, top with halved biscotti and cocktail cherries. Decorate with whipped cream.
