A simple but delicious cake recipe:
Heat milk and fat and remove from heat. In the meantime, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until sugar is dissolved. Sift flour and baking powder on top. Add milk-fat mixture and stir in briefly. Pour the batter into a greased grease pan. Bake in the heated oven on the 2nd rack from the bottom at 200 degrees (electric) or level 3 (gas) for about 20 minutes.
Heat the coconut flakes, fat, milk and sugar. Spread evenly over the baked cake and bake for a further 5-8 min. at 225 °C (electric) or level 4 (gas).
