For the Hearty Asparagus and Potato Rösti, first peel the potatoes, cut into pieces and boil in salted water until tender. Also cut the asparagus into pieces and cook in salt-sugar water.

Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a pan (add a little oil if necessary). Finely chop the onion and fry it with the rendered bacon.

Grate or chop the cheese and add it. When the cheese has melted, add the pieces of sugar snap peas, asparagus and potatoes (mash them a little with a fork).
