Squeeze garlic into a bowl. Add yogurt and mayonnaise. (Add mayonnaise in portions to the bowl, keep seasoning!) Season with salt and pepper. If desired, you can refine the sauce with a finely chopped green bell pepper or a finely chopped hard-boiled egg.
