Remove peel from kohlrabi (keep tender greens), quarter, cut into narrow slices. Cut breakfast bacon into narrow strips, fry in large frying pan, add kohlrabi, roast over medium heat for 5 minutes. Finely dice onions, add to kohlrabi form, roast uncovered 10-15 min, turning occasionally to other side. Chop kohlrabi greens into small pieces. In another frying pan, toast eggs in butter to make fried eggs.
Season kohlrabi heartily with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Sprinkle with kohlrabi greens and bring to table with the fried eggs.
Serve with baked potatoes with sour cream or crème fraiche or possibly French bread.
