Separate the egg. From the vanilla sugar, egg yolks, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, fat and baking powder quickly knead a smooth dough. Cover and rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Preheat electric stove to 200 degrees Celsius, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Knead dough and form into finger-thick rolls. Brush with egg white, sprinkle with sugar and almond kernels. 4.

Place the rolls on the baking tray and bake for about 12 minutes (gas mark 3). Divide the sticks diagonally into 1 cm thick and 4 cm long pieces. Cool.
