For the chocolate chili tarts, melt the chocolate with the butter in a water bath and stir. Add sugar and chili and stir until smooth.

Add the eggs one by one and fold them loosely into the mixture, finally fold in the flour. Butter small ramekins and sprinkle with sugar.

Spread the mixture in the ramekins. Bake at medium heat for about 20 minutes. Turn out of the pan and serve with sauces or compote.
