Carrots are a mild vegetable that even the youngest ones can enjoy. Steamed it is good to nibble – especially if it is fun skewered. For babies it is pureed.

For toddlers: rinse carrots and potatoes, simmer in a little salted water for 25 minutes until the tubers are cooked. Peel off potatoes, peel off carrots. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut cheese into small slices. Using a wooden stick, skewer 1 piece each of lettuce, cheese, potato, lettuce, cheese, potato, cheese, lettuce and carrots.
