Wash the asparagus, cut off the woody ends, peel, cut into 2cm wide strips, cook in salted water with a dash of olive oil. Melt butter in a frying pan, cook breadcrumbs in it until golden brown, strain the cooked asparagus, drain and roll in the breadcrumbs. Serve with green salad or cocktail tomatoes.
