Instructions:

Rinse the artichoke hearts and cut the stem base into small pieces. Trim the artichoke hearts by 1/3, pluck off the bracts around the stem base. Put the flowers in lemon water ( 1/2 liter water and 2-3 tbsp juice of one lemon).

In the meantime, put the remaining juice of one lemon and spices, water, vegetable oil and the cleaned vegetables for the bouquet garni in a saucepan and bring to the boil on 3 or automatic heat 9-12. Pour in the artichoke hearts and cook for about 15 minutes on 1 or automatic heat 3-4.

Remove the lid, stir carefully and simmer on 1 1/2 or automatic heat 4-5 for another 15 minutes. When the artichoke hearts are cooked, there should be enough of the marinade left to use as a sauce. Cool everything down and bring to the table.

Tip: Always use aromatic spices to enhance your dishes!
