A bean recipe for every taste:
1 1/2 tbsp. rosemary sprigs with flowers -pepper from the grinder.
A breath of fresh air for the entrées buffet: great when you have guests. 1. string beans. bring a quart of salted water to a boil. Steam beans for 10 min until soft. 2. toast pine nuts. Slice garlic, roast at low temperature in 1 tbsp olive oil until golden brown. Fold in rosemary needles. Cut tomatoes into wedges. Mix buttermilk with remaining olive oil, season. Arrange beans and tomatoes on a platter. Top with pine nuts, sauce, garlic and rosemary flowers.
