Party Ladybug

For the party ladybugs, first wash the tomatoes, remove the stem and cut in half. Then wash the cucumber as well and cut into slices about 5 mm thick.

Now drain the black olives, pit them and cut them into quarters. Cut half of the olives into quarters lengthwise and the rest widthwise. Chop two of the olives additionally into small pieces.

Next, cut the halved tomatoes lengthwise to the center and place cut side down on a cucumber slice. Now wedge 2 olive pieces, quartered lengthwise, into the incision of the tomato so that the shape of the wings can be seen. For the head of the party ladybug, place a crosswise quartered olive on the opposite side of the tomato. The finely chopped olives serve as dots and are simply sprinkled all over the tomatoes for this purpose.

Finally, just use mayonnaise to paint eyes on the party ladybugs and garnish the plate the ladybugs are sitting on with a few arugula leaves.
