Rinse cloud ear mushrooms under water, soak in warm water for about half an hour.
Clean cauliflower, rinse and divide into bite-sized roses, clean broccoli, divide into roses and stems. Peel and chop stems.
Clean, seed, rinse and chop the chili peppers.
Perhaps chop the mushrooms, bring to a boil with the clear soup in a wide saucepan. Add chili and oyster sauce.
Add the cauliflower to the clear soup and simmer for about 10 minutes with the lid on. Add the broccoli and steam everything together for another 6 to 8 minutes with the lid closed.
