First, preheat the oven to 170 °C.
Sift the flour into a bowl and make a well in the center. Pour 5 tablespoons of milk with the yeast and the 2 tablespoons of sugar into a cup and dissolve the yeast in it.
Pour into the flour well and mix with some of the flour. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.
If the surface shows cracks, mix in the remaining ingredients for the dough. The dough should pull away from the side of the bowl.
Cover again with a cloth and let rest in a warm place until the dough has doubled in volume.
Knead again, transfer to floured work surface and cut off pieces the size of a chicken egg.
Shape into rounds with floured hands and let rise again for 45 minutes.
Butter an ovenproof frying pan or baking dish. Heat the milk in it, stir in the vanilla sugar and sugar. Place the noodles not too close to each other in the mold and cover.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until the steamed noodles are golden brown.
