First prepare the marinade.
Mix all the ingredients for the marinade well and place in a shallow bowl or baking dish. The ribs should be able to lie nicely next to each other in it.
Wash the pork ribs and pat them dry. Turn and baste in the marinade a few times.
Place meat side down in the marinade and refrigerate for a few hours, covered with plastic wrap.
Grill the spareribs slowly, preferably on a charcoal grill. Brush intermittently with remaining marinade while grilling.
