For the potato pancakes, first peel the onion and potatoes and grate them not too finely. Squeeze the potato-onion mixture well and pour away the water.

Fold in the eggs, flour and salt.

Heat a frying pan, pour in the oil. Spoon the potato dough into the pan in small heaps and flatten.

Bake the potato pancakes until brown on both sides.
