*****- Preparation -***** Remove the peel from the oranges with a kitchen knife, cut out the white skin in detail. Cut the flesh into slices about 1 cm thick and cut out the seeds, if any.

Put sugar with about 500 ml of tap water in saucepan and cook on medium heat without lid for about 20 min, stirring occasionally, until a thick syrup is formed. Remove the saucepan from the stove and allow the syrup to cool.

Add the orange slices and the orange liqueur to the syrup, mix it all, transfer it to a bowl and put it in the icebox for one night.

The last course should infuse for at least 12 hours. Add a little bit of orange liqueur before serving.
