A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Preheat electric kitchen stove to 180 °C. Knead the butter in pieces with the Parmesan cheese, the flour and the paprika powder.

Roll out the dough thinly and cut out round or possibly square cookies. Prick a pattern with a fork. Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking parchment. Bake on the middle shelf at 180 °C (gas mark 2) for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

Cool on a cooling rack. Pack in a tightly closed tin and leave to soak for at least 1 week before eating. Please note: The cookies must soak for about 1 week:
