Instructions:

For the elderberry ice cream, first boil the prepared and washed elderberries with the sugar and citric acid for about 5 minutes.

Then strain through a fine sieve to remove the seeds. Place in cold water to cool, or in the refrigerator overnight.

Stir the whipped cream and milk into this cold mixture, pour into the ice cream container of the ice cream maker and freeze for about 40 minutes. Transfer to a suitable box and store in the freezer.

Makes about 1 liter of ice cream.
