For cake pops, cream butter with vanilla sugar, sugar and egg.

Mix flour, baking powder and ground almonds and add to the butter mixture alternately with the milk.

Pour the batter into a greased, floured small loaf or cake pan and bake at 160 degrees convection for about 30 minutes.

Let the cake cool for 10 minutes and then crumble it in a bowl. Mix with the room-warm cream cheese and chill the mixture.

Form about 25 balls from the cake mixture with your hands and place on wooden skewers or straws.

Melt the chocolate icing and dip the balls in the light or dark chocolate.

Sprinkle the cake pops with colorful sugar pearls or sprinkles and let cool in the refrigerator
