For the beef and carrot casserole, render the bacon cubes in the butter. Sauté onion slices and beef in it.

Add carrots and potatoes, pour in soup and cook covered for 25 minutes. Season everything and put into a greased baking dish.

Cover with cheese slices. Bake at 225 °C for about 10 minutes.
