A simple but delicious cake recipe:
Cream butter with honey, gradually add the eggs and flour mixed with baking powder. Pour half of the dough into a greased springform pan and cover with the peeled apples cut into fine slices. Cover with the rest of the dough.
Bake: Bake in a heated oven at 170 °C for about an hour.
For the glaze, mix the apricot jam with a little bit of hot water and spread it on the warm cake with a brush. Brown the sliced almonds in a little butter and sprinkle them on top.
