For cider cookies, knead the butter with flour, salt and 4 tablespoons of apple cider. If the dough does not yet fit, add more cider.
Let the dough rest in a cool place for an hour, knead, roll out to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out slices (also works with a drinking glass).
Put a teaspoon of solid jam in the center of each slice.
Fold the slices into a semicircle and press well.
Place on a greased baking tray. Preheat oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat and bake the cookies for about 12 -15 minutes.
Turn the finished cider cookies in the powdered sugar while they are still warm.
