Instructions:

For the chocolate cake with icing, beat the egg whites with 100 g sugar until stiff, whisk the yolks with the remaining sugar until foamy, add the butter.

Gently mix the yolks or butter mixture into the beaten egg whites, then gently fold in the flour.

Pour into a floured cake tin and bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Melt the cooking chocolate in the whipping cream and bring to the boil, then chill. Cut the cake in half when cold, whisk the cold whipped cream and chocolate mixture until fluffy and fill the cake with it.

Bring the powdered sugar and water to the boil briefly and cover the cake with it when slightly overcooled. Depending on your taste, decorate the chocolate cake with sugar icing with Smarties.
