Rinse the zucchini, cut in half lengthwise and blanch in boiling hot salted water for about 10 minutes. Remove and scoop out with a spoon. Dice the flesh and place in a suitable bowl.
Chop onions and fry in olive oil. Add ground beef and cook for 5 minutes.
Dice ham, peel and chop tomatoes, add both to the zucchini cubes together with the minced meat form. Stir in egg, grated cheese and chopped basil, season with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
Fill zucchini halves with minced mixture and place in greased ovenproof dish. Mix tomato ketchup with whipped cream, season with Tabasco and pour over zucchini. Bake in the oven at 220 °C for 20 minutes.
Our tip: Zucchini are tender in taste and therefore also suitable for children.
