Try this delicious cake recipe:

Mix the flour and the salt. Grate in 4/5 of the butter and crumble everything together finely with the dough hook of the food processor. Add the egg and subsequently the water and knead a smooth dough. Rest at room temperature with the lid closed for half an hour. Grease a cake springform pan of 28 cm ø.

Preheat the oven to 220 °C. Roll out the dough. Use it to spread out the pastry. Make a rim of 3 cm. Prick the bottom of the dough a few times with a fork. Pre-bake on the middle rack for 10-12 minutes.

For the filling, dice the onions medium fine. Sauté in the remaining butter until soft. Finely grate the cheese. First spread the onions, then the cheese evenly in the pastry crust. Press a little smooth with a spoon.

For the glaze, mix the whipped cream with the eggs and the spelt. Season to taste with salt, nutmeg and pepper. Pour the ice cream over the filling. Sprinkle the caraway seeds on top.

Bake the curd cake in the heated oven at 200 °C on the middle shelf for about 25 minutes until the surface is golden. Cool slightly on a cooling rack. Remove from the pan and serve lukewarm.
