For the sloe liqueur, lightly pound the cleanly washed and drained sloes in a mortar, part of the stones should also be crushed, this will give the drink a pleasant aroma.

Put the puree into a saucepan. Add red wine, lemon peel abrasion and spices and let it infuse in a cool place for 3 to 4 days.

Filter everything and boil the liquid briefly. Allow to cool to 40 °C and add the honey. When it has cooled completely, add the vodka.

Fill into bottles and close them properly. Store the sloe liqueur in a cool and dark place.
