For the orange syrup, wash the oranges and lime well and cut them into pieces of about 3 cm. Put the fruit pieces together with 3/4 l water, the sugar, the star anise and the cardamom pods into a pot and let everything boil down for about 30 minutes.
Stir occasionally and remove the foam that forms with a ladle. After boiling, strain the syrup through a sieve and bottle it.
