A cake recipe for all foodies. 1:

Grease a cake pan (approx. 22 cm Ø, about 2.5 liters capacity) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. 2.

Coarsely chop the pralines. Mix fat, sugar and salt until creamy. Fold in eggs one at a time, then the eggnog. Mix flour and baking powder and fold in. Fold in the pralines.

Fill the cake mixture into the cake tin, smooth it down and bake in the heated kitchen oven (electric oven: 175 °C / convection oven: 150 °C / gas: level 2) for approx. 1 hour.

Cool in the pan for approx. 10 minutes, then turn out and cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar.
