Soak chickpeas in water for one night. Before processing, strain water and put peas through a meat grinder.

Finely grate orange peel, chop parsley. Knead orange peel, flour, peas, parsley and spices into a dough.

Form flat cakes from the dough. Heat fat in a large frying pan and fry the dumplings on both sides until golden brown.

Serve with: Colored leaf salad
