From cabbage remove the damaged leaves, remove the stalk, rinse, pour plenty of boiling water, meanwhile make until the leaves are soft. Now take out the cabbage, separate the individual leaves, remove the thick leaf veins without damaging the leaves.
Soak the buns in milk, squeeze them and put them through a meat grinder. Clean the mushrooms, rinse them, chop them, roast them, mix them with the buns, the ham cut in strips, the chopped green parsley, the egg yolks and the stiffly beaten snow and season them. Place the filling on the prepared cabbage leaves, fold the edges inwards, roll up, place in a container lined with cabbage leaves, pour over the seasoned whipped cream and simmer on a low flame with the lid closed until soft.
Tip: It is best to use your favorite ham – then your dish will taste twice as good!
