For the dough, melt the cappuccino powder in 1 tsp hot water and knead together with flour, ground powdered sugar, hazelnuts, butter and egg yolks until smooth. Form two rolls of about 20 cm and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Cut the cooled rolls into 1 cm thick slices. Place an entire hazelnut on each slice. Fold the dough over it and shape it into a ball.
Mix the chopped nuts with sugar. Coat balls thinly with egg white, roll in nut mixture and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven heated to 180 °C (on the 2nd rack from the bottom) for 12 to 14 minutes. Cool.
Melt the cooking chocolate in a hot water bath and dip the bottom of the mocha balls, drain and dry.
