The Rendezvous is for sale, and at a very attractive price. Keep in mind, we don't own--we lease--the property. So, the asking price is for virtually everything else, which we do own. Of the assets in and on the property, the landlord (who, by the way, provides a very reasonable lease) owns the triple sink and hood system in the kitchen, and an armoire.
What are we looking at, then? |
- A turnkey restaurant and bed & breakfast which we have owned for 15 years.
- A profitable, well-known business, with many long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent relationships with all purveyors.
- Highest average Zagat food rating in Mendocino County for the last seven years.
- A first-rate website, with great placement on all major search engines, and highly ranked by Alexa.
- Restaurant seats up to 36, with two other dining rooms available.
- Six furnished B&B rooms, normally accommodating 6 couples, but with maximum capacity of 16.
- An accomplished staff, willing to remain.
- Owners who will facilitate the sale, and transfer of all necessary licenses, etc.
- Furnishings and fixtures, wine & food inventory.
- Solid marketing email list with over 2,000 entries.
The business would benefit from having some money put into it, and we believe this is reflected in the asking price. We're not discounting future profit streams, or thowing in an arbitrary amount for goodwill. We're asking what we believe is a fair price for what is there. The wine inventory alone approaches $10,000. Replacement cost for the china (Villeroy & Boch) and silverware (Oneida) alone would be several thousand dollars.
If you have a serious interest, please request an inventory, and we would be happy to discuss other details. |
